Great Wave Stitch-a-Long, part 6

Hi everyone! Greetings from the Very Hot city of Seattle. Less hot today, but... boy, it was hot.

I'm happy to report that I made a tiny bit of progress on my Great Wave piece -- and all progress is good progress!

But here's where I was:

and here's where I am now:

I am absolutely sure that the other stitchers in this stitch-a-long have been much more productive than I have, so check out their blogs and see:

See you in three weeks!

  2. I can't cope in hot weather. Anything above 20C and I need a cool shower LOL. Well done for stitching anything at all in the heat.

  3. You finished another column. That is a whole lot of progress. I have been very productive and I am paying for it with extremely sore thumbs that are now sitting in braces. I am sure that the heat is not helping with your stitching. I hope you are staying as cool as possible.

  5. You really made some great progress despite the brutal heat. No air conditioning up here in B'ham and I thought we would melt away. Thankfully our beautiful weather has returned.

  6. Not sure how you are coping with the heat! Stitching would be the last thing on my mind.

  7. Looks like good progress to me, especially when it's full coverage! Hope your weather cools down!

  8. So difficult stitching when its really hot especially if you get high humidity too. Just keeping hands clean so you do not mark your work is a task in itself. x
