50 States

As of September 2024 I have run half marathons in 49 of 50 states! 

This awesome little tool from Running in the USA really helping me color a lot of the map!

The fine folks at the Defocus Blog created a very cool "visited states" map, though I have used it for my own devices. I've raced in the blue states ... 49 so far... plus Washington DC! Yes, yes, I know it's not a state... 

In 2024 I added five new states: Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Vermont, and Maine. And I recently registered for Honolulu's Hapalua Half Marathon in April 2025 to get my 50th state... in the 50th state! to get to 49 by the end of 2024.
